Expert Sports Massage & Physiotherapy FAQs

  • Do I need to have an injury to book a session?

Not at all. Many clients come for general tightness, recovery after training, or to prepare for an event. Sports massage and physiotherapy can also help with posture, mobility, and overall wellbeing.

  • What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your first session includes a short chat about your goals and any concerns, a quick assessment of movement or areas of discomfort, and then a tailored hands-on treatment. You’ll also get simple advice on stretches or recovery afterwards.

  • What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear something comfortable that allows easy access to the area being treated — such as shorts for legs or a vest top for shoulders and upper back.

  • How long is a typical session?

A standard assessment & treatment is 60 minutes. Follow-up sessions are normally shorter depending on your needs.

  • How often should I book sessions?

It depends on your goals. For regular training or heavy workloads, many clients book every 2–4 weeks. For recovery after an injury, we’ll decide together based on your progress.

  • Is sports massage painful?

You might feel some pressure or mild discomfort in tighter areas, but it should never be unbearable. I’ll always work at a level you’re comfortable with and check in throughout.
